Anglers can chase big dreams from the beaches, breakwall or deep sea at Wooli where local fishing charters are available into the Solitary Islands Marine Park. Holidaymakers can also find perfect fishing and picnic spots along the riverbank.
Wooli Wooli means ‘two water’ and the river is acclaimed to be the most unpolluted river in Australia. The pristine waters of the river create the narrow peninsula which houses the village of Wooli. It is a haven for wildlife such as storks, brolgas, kingfishers, parrots, emus and kangaroos and can be negotiated for around 20kms by canoe or boat.
